I regard myself as a forward thinking, reliable and self motivated person with excellent man management, problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels, plan and coordinate time efficiently and exceed expectations.
I have a detailed knowledge of building and maintenance of computer systems involving aspects such as faultfinding, diagnosis, cabling and network management. My previous role with Marriot hotels involved interface installation and configuration, upgrading their front desk system from Fidelio to Opera.Ensuring that operating systems continued to function efficiently.
Through my IT career I’ve gained extensive knowledge in installation and use of operating systems and applications including DOS 622/7,MS Windows 98,2000,ME, XP,Vista and MS Office Suite. This has given me the experience to solve technical problems working alone or as part of a team.
I’ve also worked on network administration and configuration with structured cabling using cat 5 leads, hubs, switches and routers. Currently I’m developing new skills working a support technician for The City of London Corporation
My time in IT industry has been extremely rewarding and I look forward to the prospects of new challenges where I can utilise and develop the skills I have gained and believe that my technical experience, interpersonal, and communication and problem solving skills are an excellent formula to offer a prospective employer.
