I have run my own business, managed a start up social enterprise, designed and delivered community & entrepreneurial development programmes (BizFizz, Civic Champions, Local Alchemy) across the UK. I am an experienced fundraiser, and have conceived, written and delivered successful bids across a wide range of activities; including funds from central and regional government, large national funders, such as the Lottery, Children in Need and Comic relief and also from independent Trusts. I have also sourced funds from sponsorships, appeals and private sector donors.
I am an experienced project designer and manager; have a proven knowledge of financial and budgetary systems and have a good knowledge of organisational management, system thinking and change management. I am entrepreneurial, sales oriented, write, speak and present well and I am a qualified NLP practitioner and coach, which gives me a wide and useful understanding of the values, motivations and behaviours of both individuals and organisations.
