As a sound & lighting technician I have worked with bands live and in the studio, as a guitarist myslef I have also taken up roles such as guitar technician.
For the past 4 years I have worked as an Audio Visual Technician for an NHS conference centre broadcasting and recording live surgery, setting up for conferences internal of the centre and in hotels, and now launched as a freelance technican, looking for work in anything from events, concerts, productions, conferences.

Description: As audio visual technician it is my responsibility to set up appropriate equipment in the centre for daily meetings, provide technical assistance for weekly teaching sessions, regional, national and international conferences within the Postgraduate Centre and at hotels, or conference centres, providing technical support for live link broadcasts from operating theatres in to lecture theatres, video conferences, programming and supporting interactive keypads, creating a library of stock photo"s and video for use in teaching, maintaining, troubleshooting all audio visual equipment, including, induction loop systems, visual systems, audio systems, and video conferencing equipment and developing the service provided at both centres.
As apart of this development I have installed a digital matrix system to broadcast the live links into any of 5 rooms individually or at the same time, and developing a portable high definition video conference system to broadcast from operating theatres and examination rooms across campus into the lecture theatres. This works in partnership with a high definition video conference system that can broadcast from any location on campus into our lecture theatres.
I have managed the upgrade project for one of our main conference rooms, meeting with suppliers, and manufacturers to develop a system capable of providing standard and high definition visuals alongside an easy to control system, with the ability to record all presentations from a day"s conference directly onto DVD for delegates to take away for further study.

I proposed and installed developments including microphone and video camera inputs in various positions around the worship area to enable the congregation to have access to all activities, from audio feeds for the loop system to live cameras broadcast on the screen.
