I have received a fellowship for international public service work and been awarded two travel grants for research abroad. I graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in three years (with a double major in Government and History and with minors in Business, Eastern European Studies, and Mathematics). I honed my research skills by assisting a University of Texas professor with four books.
I began writing professionally at age 12, when I ghostwrote my first published novel for a New York Times bestselling author. I have since worked with the author on two more novels. I have also published six academic articles in nationally circulated journals.
My training means I place an excellent attention to detail and offer a wide range of skills as a proofreader, copy-editor, and researcher. Although I have lately focused on academic and legal work, I also offer extensive experience in creative writing.
I can also offer excellent translation work, as I have a native command of both Spanish and English and have worked in legal and corporate environment throughout the United States, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile.
