Previous projects include house extensions, furniture design, community, leisure and cultural buildings.
I am currently studing to complete qualification as an RIBA approved architect, during this period, in addition to university projects, I have undertaken and completed a couple of residential projects for extensions and refurbishments, obtaining planning and building regulations approval.
My studies in architecture have allowed me to develop a range of skills, which, coupled with an honest diligence and desire to learn, are transferrable to your needs:
Research and analytical skills; gathering and examining text and images from personal interview, surveys, public libraries, government agencies and the internet.
Communication skills; presenting information orally and visually, with an aim to clearly explain to and actively involve the observer.
Teamwork skills; experience of working as a member and leader in several groups comprising people of different nationalities, with varying design philosophies and differing areas of expertise.
Time management; establishing and adhering to a process that integrates the different stages of design with a set of achievable deadlines.
Creativity; quickly understanding a group of conditions and forming appropriate design responses to these interrelated variables.
I have many years experience in design both by hand (cabinet making, drafting, illustration, painting etc) and digitally (web design, graphic design, photography, CAD etc).
Area Covered: West Midlands, world wide remotely.
