Although I am a student, I am looking to make a serious income to support both my studies and travel. I work particularly well under pressure and can offer a relatively large amount of my personal time to work on projects.
I can offer a writing style of uncompromising flair, originality and precision. My keen interest in literature, philosophy, the arts and my broad cultural background have enabled me to form a concrete understanding of a wide variety of concepts, ideas and their practical implementation or historical context.
In terms of my linguistic skills, I am completely fluent in Portuguese, with a strong affinity with that culture (which, by extension, includes Brazil and various African countries and cultures). I have worked on behalf of Portsmouth City Council with Portuguese children newly arrived in the country as translator, pastoral support worker and events organiser. Although I have not yet put my French to use on a professional level, it is another ambition of mine to do so.
I feel that with my unquestionable academic skills, linguistic flexibility, proven creativity, diligence and ability to meet tight deadlines, I can offer a service of unparalleled quality, particularly for a student. Although I am too young to have had as much professional experience as some of my competitors, I feel that my youthful vigour and fresh, creative streak are, in this case, transcendent virtues.
I look forward to working with you.
