My dad was a mixture of German and Russian nobility and spoke 4 languages(his dad spoke 6 languages) and my mom was a mixture of different nationalities too
(including Georgian prince). I do remember me, age 2, bilingual and since this time.....trying to connect pieces of my soul.....and family history....and I am still struggling with that, for me seems to be the only job I can do - translation. I have kept many other jobs during my life, but not so successfully. I really do enjoy translation, because I love beautiful Russian Language (I think my Russian is really stylish, I am trying to keep intelligent Russian language (witch seems to be disappearing. And my curiosity towards the World pushed me to make progress with 3 foreign languages: German, English and Swedish. I do not mention here Estonian, because it is my second native language (I was born in Russia, spend there my early childhood, but was growing up in Estonia)and now I am on Scottish island Skye, because of my self-programming in my early childhood: cherry garden around the house was not what I wanted - I wanted to live near the Sea....and here I am - perfect place for translators - sea and mountains.....when I am translating, I can hear bird-singing in the garden.
