I am a professional engineer with over 12 years experience in the international engineering/construction industry. I have carried out various site engineering works including RC Frames, Ground-works, Piling, Roads, Drainage systems and Petrochemical sites. I am proficient with a Total Station, Laser Level, Pipe Laser, Auto Level, GPS and comfortable using any drawing and calculating the necessary information from that, as well as producing as-built records. I am competent in the use of Auto CAD; I work with Auto Cad drawings on a daily basis and can easily produce them if necessary. I have been on a number of Health and Safety courses including a Service Locator\'s Course and also a Basic First Aid Course. I have prepared method statements and worked with Sub contractors

Work Experience Summary: Aug 2009- Now I am working on a part time basis as a freelance engineer at the moment while studying Masters at university.
May2009- Aug 2009 I worked as an engineer for Sunway Ltd on a number of projects including RC frames, flats, drainage, roads. I was responsible for running the engineering side of these projects including the quantifying and ordering the materials as well as surveying and setting out from start to completion.
Sep.2008 - Mar.2009 I worked as a section engineer for Lancsville Ltd on the New South Quarter project, a mixture of post tension slabs and reinforced concrete frames and roads in Croydon. I was responsible for providing control points, setting out of structures, providing other engineers with information taken from Auto Cad drawings as well as inputting as built results into these drawings and also other general section engineer\'s duties.
Sep.2007 - Sep.2008 I worked as a section engineer for Lancsville Ltd on Great West Quarter project. This involved piling, using sheet piles to retain earth, drainage system and finally construction of basement and podium level slabs. I was responsible for the setting out of both drainage and structures as well as advising junior engineers on setting out methods and techniques; ensuring that the drawings contain sufficient and correct information otherwise raising RFI\'s, also liaising with the Resident Engineer.
May2006 - Sep.2007 I worked as a self employed engineer on various construction projects. I was responsible for the whole engineering aspects of these projects from preparing drawings and setting out to instructing the workforce and all of other field works and finally producing the as-built records.
Sep.2005 • Apr.2006 I worked as a section engineer for Laing O’Rourke on the Ascot Racecourse Redevelopment project. I was responsible for a section of this project called Parade Ring, a multi-radius concrete ring which included complex and detailed forms and intricate use of in-situ and pre-cast components, ground profiling, drainage systems and required dealing with logistical difficulties.
Sep.2004 - Sep.2005 I worked as a site engineer for CJ O’Shea on the Silvertown Project, a nine story R.C. frame elliptical shape and a seven story L shape structure. I carried out setting out, leveling, calculations and eventually surveys and as-builts for this 201 luxury flats’ project.
Jan. 2003 - Sep. 2004 I worked for Laing O’Rourke on the Western Perimeter Corridor section of the new Terminal 5 project at Heathrow. This involved building access roads from M25 to the new terminal and the diversion of roads and two rivers. I was involved in setting out reinforced concrete, roads and ground works to a high tolerance and a fast track program.
Aug. 2001 - Nov. 2002 I worked for the Paragon Restyle Construction Ltd., carrying out leveling and setting out for refurbishment projects in Enfield Town and New Barnet(London). During this time I gained a good understanding of the UK Construction Health and Safety requirements.
Sep. 1995 - Mar.2000 I worked as a Resident Site Engineer in the Engineering Services department of the Petrochemical Industrial Designing and Engineering Company, located at Petrochemical Company of Iran. My job involved carrying out all aspects of civil construction works: quantity surveying, estimating and planning, excavations, steel reinforcement, form works, concreting, leveling and setting out of foundations, pedestals, frames, access roads and the production of as-built drawings using Auto CAD.
