My main duties involved:
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Translating the company MusicStation website from English
into Italian using adaptation wherever the context required it.
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Proofreading the few existing Italian sections of the company website.

January 2009 Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ September 2009: In-House Translator at Ivobank in London.
My main duties involved:
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Translating the BankÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website from English into Italian;
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Testing the functionality innovations and changes of the Italian version of the BankÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website;
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Assessing the Italian customer service of the Bank;
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Proofreading the few existing sections of the Italian version of the BankÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website.

June 2008 Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ December 2008: In-House Translator and Senior Customer Service Representative at Hostelbookers.com in London.
I was liaising with customers and hotel owners to ensure high quality service was provided to customers. My main duties involved:
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Providing technical and language translation assistance to Italian Hoteliers who wished to start advertising their properties on the companyÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website or helping existing Italian Hotelier members to enhance their property profile on the companyÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Answering customersÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ queries, mainly by email, regarding the status of their hostel or hotel bookings and advising them in compliance with companyÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s policy.
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Building good professional and business relationships, prioritizing and time-managing workloads, multi-tasking and negotiating with clients to achieve the best possible outcome.


April 2005 Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ May 2005: Temporary In-House Translator and Customer Service Representative at the Tourism Department of the Australian Embassy in London.
I temporarily replaced the in-house translator and customer service representative. My main duties involved:

Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Translating updates for the Tourism section of the Australian EmbassyÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s website.

March 2004 Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ March 2005: In-House Translator and Customer Support Agent at Teletech UK in Belfast (Northern Ireland).
I was working as a translator and CSA for the Kodak Picture Makers Project for the Italian Market. My main duties involved:
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Translating Kodak website Contractual Terms and Conditions section and emails from English into Italian
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Translating and proofreading general Kodak website contents from English into Italian for the launch and update of the Italian version of the Kodak website
Ã’¢ï’¿’½Â’¢ Providing technical and translation assistance to the Kodak Picture Maker Owners in Italy regarding the troubleshooting of their machines.

Education Summary: September 2007 Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½ June 2008: Spent the third and last year of my degree as an Undergraduate Exchange Student at the School of Law of Utrecht University in the Netherlands reading Human Rights and Criminal Law.
