There are a variety of challenges that a copywriter faces. Having spent 8-years within the digital marketing industry I have come to learn how to create good copy to a strict deadline, how to write in bulk, under pressure, and in a variety of styles and themes depending on the client and situation. I also offer a proofreading and editing service for specialist blogs and articles.

Agency Content Management - Within a number of full time roles I have looked after the entire content provision for digital agencies. This has entailed liaising with clients to put together extensive briefs that cover their requirements on a monthly basis, including website content, on-site blog posts and more in-depth off-site guest posts. As part of the role I also managed a team of writers to deliver the content, as well as taking on a large portion of the writing myself.

Website Content Creation - Either working from scratch to create basic websites for start-up companies, or freshening up tired old copy for existing websites, I have the experience and ability to build a framework of copy for a website that engages with users and entices custom for the company in question. Whether a basic 3-5 page website, or an extensive site with many pages, sub-pages and layers, I believe in my ability to maximise the potential of any business through its website.

Blog Posts - Many clients require either a stand-alone article or regular (weekly/monthly) articles to be posted on a website. Taking notes from clients initially I can work to order, putting together fun and cheery blog posts, company and industry updates, hints and tips and other topics to keep users reading and coming back for more. All of my content for on-site purposes is written with basic SEO in mind.

In-Depth Articles - for guest post purposes or for a more in-depth look at specific topics, I can take data and information and make relevant copy that lasts the distance and helps a company stand out as an authority within that particular industry. The articles are assembled using information gleaned from numerous sources, including interviews with clients, fleshing out bullet points and short pieces of information provided, heavy research of exterior sources and re-writing of existing information provided to ensure it is web-ready.

Product Description & Bulk Content - In some cases clients have come to me with projects where there are 100s of products for sale on the company website. It has been my task to work through, re-writing and creating authentic and original copy for each product in order to sell to the customer base and be completely unique on the web.

Proof Reading & Editing Service - Provided with existing copy I supply a full and thorough proof reading service, working towards standards, themes and formats that are requested. This work has included web content, blog posts, academic work and marketing literature.
