I have a proven track record organising and promoting fundraising events for charity both in England and Wales. For the last three years I have organised an annual programme of events for a small heritage railway and seen a 40% increase in passenger numbers during that time. On behalf of a charity, I set up, managed and ran a tea room for tourists, baking and cooking good quality food that sold well. I created easy-to-use paperwork systems to comply with food hygiene legislation for the tea room and can manage a team of staff efficiently and effectively. The tea room went from takings of £20 a day to £600 a day. I have also managed a community centre in Oxford with responsibility for organising local fairs and events and been a secretary for several Oxford charities.
My administrative skills are good, reliable and accurate. I can touch-type and am computer literate. My B.Ed focussed on language and literacy so I have an excellent knowledge of the English language and how it can be use to good effect. I am a good communicator and enjoy working in a variety of environments. In my most recent employment I was a public engagement officer for a local authority.
If you choose to employ me then I assure you that I am a reliable and motivated worker and will get your job done to the highest possible standard.
