Examples of some of the projects I have completed as a freelance Producer and Director can be seen at the links in my camera CV.
My Degree in Communication Studies over ten years ago and the time since spent working as a Video Producer/Researcher have provided me with the abilities and communication skills to work as an effective and versatile researcher.
Area Covered: Video Producer/Researcher
Summary: After graduating from university I immediately found work as a Television Production Researcher. I worked in this role for three years for three different production companies on nine different Television Productions.
The fact that typically this career was worked on a short term project basis and thus a short term contract basis was not something I was very happy with. During one of the TV Productions and my degree I had undertaken a considerable amount of sound and camera technical training and work. I decided that I would become a freelance location sound recordist/camera operator and leave behind the researcher role.
After several years working in sound on many TV and Film productions an oportunity to produce, direct, film and edit corporate video prodjects came my way. Ever since I have divided my work between location sound recording and Video Producer projects.
