After leaving university I worked with a number of City law firms before moving to Deloittes where I managed a number of campaign that delivered between 20 and 80 per cent conversion to sale. I then moved to Grant Thornton where I executed a number of campaigns, developed a key account programme and a process for client relationship development. After spending 3 years there I became an interim manager taking on positions that ranged from proposition testing and message development as Head of Insight for IPS, developing and delivering a content strategy to small professional services firm in the regions to building a marketing strategy that delivered doubled revenue within one year as Head of Marketing for Dr Foster Intelligence. In 2012 I took the opportunity of working in the mining sector as a journalist producing features and supplements for some of the main global mining titles before moving back into marketing again working as a consultant with smaller firms developing strategies for growth.
