Obviously you do. If you didn't, you would have instantly selected the cheapest, and lowest price bidder, blindsided by price--instead of results. But you're different. You understand enough about marketing to know it isn't a cost, it's an investment.
Marketing is and should always be a timeless piece of ammunition your company has to generate sales. It shouldn’t be a constant cost in your budget—if done properly, the content should last forever. Like a snowflake, every piece of marketing material is individual; there is no “one size fits all,” there is no duplication or replication. There is no such word as template in strong copy.
Your marketing should be that of a house; each piece is small, but solid. Put together properly, your house will stand for decades, and hold tough against even the strongest competition. Your bricks can not stand alone however, they need mortar and other bricks to create a solid structure. Built too quickly, the bricks will crumble like a stack of cards. Built carefully, these bricks create a mansion. You want a mansion don’t you?
Marketing is identical. You have your content, blog, sales letters, email marketing, press release, forum posting, and white paper to name a few. Individually, they may last a small while—without a solid grouping however; the mansion will shift, separate, and fall. I am the mortar you need to keep a solid foundation.
You have one shot to get it right. The average user will give your site approximately 4 seconds to determine whether you are worth their time. 4 seconds—that’s it. Shouldn’t those 4 seconds hook them into your copy? Isn’t your business worth those 4 seconds?
Of course it is. Otherwise, what good is a business that doesn’t sell? You need amazing content with high-conversions, pitched specifically for your target audience. You have an amazing product; your content needs to reflect that.
Imagine, taking $100 to the bank. You put it into the account for 2 weeks, and go back to withdraw it at that time. Suddenly, you look at your statement and see close to $500. Your money has increased 5 times. Now, imagine the same thing, only you see $1000 dollars; would you put more money into the account? Obviously. Who wouldn’t?
