Work Experience Summary: I have worked for some of the UK's well known companies including the Financial Times, The Prince's Trust, Hilton International, DSGi plc and the BBC. I have experience as a secretary and PA and can use Word proficiently and Excel and Powerpoint to a standard level. I am a trained shorthand typist and present my work well. I also have experience of PR and media relations at The FT and the Prince's Trust and Employee Communications at Hilton International where I was Head of Internal Communications. In my freelance capacity I have redeveloped and re-written intranet sites for DSGi plc, updated an number of Parental policies for the HR team and advised the Recruitment team on how to best communicate with their core audiences. At the BBC I re-wrote their Maternity Policy and guidelines for all their UK employees. I work well on my own and in teams and am not afraid to "muck in".
