Work Experience Summary: As a candidate, I offer ten yearsâï¿½ï¿½ experience in marketing and communications in private and public sector. This experience is both client side and agency.
My digital experience includes having been employed as the B2B Marketing Manager in the EMEA region for e-Dialog, a leading e-mail marketing agency. My role with e-Dialog concentrated on delivering the value proposition of relevant and targeted email strategies to blue chip clients. This involved more strategic database marketing and insight. These clients were primarily retailers which operated in online and offline environments. Consumer loyalty programmes were a key aspect of their online business. I delivered proposals for both EasyJet and Emiratesâï¿½ï¿½ Airlines.
This was a progression from my work with American Express which also involved marketing online products and services to blue chip clients including American Express Business Travelâï¿½ï¿½s online portal.
In a web environment I have experience of developing content strategies and using content management systems together with experience of search engine optimisation, online advertising and analytics.
In addition, I offer experience of creating a social media campaigns for the Office for Criminal Justice Reform which involved FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter. This achieved followers from BBC Radio 2 and other media. I managed both a web developer and web designer in this role as well as an e-Communications manager together with two junior members of staff. During this time I created a more interactive website using social media applications and developing dynamic content.
