Summary: I have been freelancing for the last one and a half years and in that time I have worked for a number of different clients including; Suzanne Howe Communications, KIMBERLY-CLARK-PROFESSIONAL*, Southern Salads, Muntons PLC, Keevil & Keevil, Original Drinks & Food Company Ltd, Websites In Business and Muntons PLC.
Prior to freelancing my previous job was the Marketing & Design Consultant for TUSP, a top 70 management consultancy. Responsibilities included the re-branding of the company, website development, CRM implementation, company advertising and improvements to the business tendering process. The role has involved working closely with the company directors, giving presentations to the senior management team on a monthly basis providing reports of marketing progress. I have created a brand identity for a software program that we initially developed for a blue chip company; this software is now being developed as a product in its own right that we will offer along with our management consultancy services. For this I have designed the brand identity, all promotional brochures and supporting material for the entire implementation of the software. I have been responsible for organising various stands at careers fairs the most notable was the recent consultancy careers fair at the Barbican, London. I have attended many networking events representing and making contact with directors and stakeholders of other companies. Other key responsibilities include internal communication such as bi weekly newsletters, external communications in the form of email newsletters and direct mail, competitor analysis research, and potential new market research with the aim to stretch the TUSP brand into lucrative new markets.
Freelancer for bbits; Blackburn IT Services Ltd, creative lead work.
In-House Art-worker for Alpha Boilers.
Primary Design Assistant for Fiona Andreanelli, freelance graphic designer
I worked as a design assistant to a book designer (www.andreanelli.com) during my summer vacation, helping with the production of a thousand-page publication for the Royal Navy, Britain and the Sea, published November 2005. I was involved in every stage, from commission to print. As assistant, I designed spreads for advertorials, typesetting, text corrections, researched photographs, and prepared digital artwork ready for printing. I was interested in the interaction among the various bodies involved in the production, especially between the editor and ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed this job; it gave a great sense of achievement, sealed in my award of a credit in the final publication.

Work Experience: Christies Auctioneers
Three weeks of work experience, both in the auction house at King Street, London, and at studios in Vauxhall. I was tasked with taking photographs of lots to be sold for compilation in auction brochures; retouching of those images using Photoshop; the setting-up of master pages in Quark Express. A worthwhile and interesting experience, exposing me to true attention to detail, with an introduction to the professional transposition of images to commercial brochures.
