I enjoy crossing-boundaries, working accross other specialisms combining my Surface Print skills alongside Embroidery. I also have basic knowledge within knit and weave.
I have experience within a Fashion Swatch studio environment; a fast paced commercial environment with the ability to work within a team as well as an individual, creating inspiring, innovative designs.
Literate IT skills on both PC and Macintosh, and software such as Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet Explorer and iWork; Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Garageband, iMovie, iPhoto and Safari. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and ES Designer are CAD packages I am also experienced in using.
I can work efficiently towards deadlines, managing my time well.
Area Covered: East Midlands
Work Experience Summary: Cast Creations (work placement)
Designing and making fashion swatch\'s for all markets, I experienced the fast turn around time fashion endeavours and kept to set requirements; colour pallette, fabrics and concept. I needed to create inspiring designs for clients all over the world, working from trend boards and colour themes.
In my spare time I also produce prints for simple T-shirts (for friends going on holiday, events, birthdays etc.) Dance is something I do in my spare time so I also help with costume making/accessories for shows.
