Work Experience Summary: Film Editor, The Tribe for the past year:
I was one of the founding members of The Tribe, a St Andrews student arts and politics publication. My responsibilities include holding writers\' meetings, interviewing for new members of the editorial team, commissioning new articles, writing reviews, features, interviews and previewing new films and TV shows, and encouraging and reviewing local film festivals and reviewing student talent in the local film production arena.
This position has furnished me with the opportunity to produce a substantial and varied portfolio of review and feature articles, and the motivation and accountability to work and meet deadlines, as well as organize and commission articles from other members of the student body. Writing is both an
indulgence and a discipline for me, and my time at The Tribe has illuminated how dedicated I am to producing well-informed, captivating pieces of entertainment journalism.
