Work Experience Summary: For the past thirty years, I have worked as a secretary, clerk, administrative assistant, office manager, bookkeeper, legal secretary, legal assistant and paralegal. I worked in the correspondence center at the general offices of a Fortune 500 steel corporation and in the Quality Assurance Department at an aerospace company. I have worked in the insurance industry, for the U.S. Department of Energy, in an Admission Office of a University and in Law Offices.
Education Summary: Most of my education comes from work experience, though I have also taken English Literature courses, speech, creative writing, math and algebra.
While attending high school, I not only took college preparatory courses, but also typing and shorthand. My typing speed is well over 100 wpm. My grammar, proofreading and writing skills are impeccable.
I am also a creative writer and a member of www.writing.com since 2007 where I post poetry, short stories, essays and a personal journal.
