I love to use these new techniques and always want to pursues new ones but never at the cost of the original ideas that we may have as an artistic worker.
I was also fortunate enough to receive an In-Book Winner Award in the internationally recognised D&AD awards in 2011 for my submission into the Disney animation competition and was not only an exhibiting graduate at the 2013 event with my final year project; The Winter Blossom, a traditionally shot paper, cut-out animated short film but have also had my work promoted by my University's yearly prospectus but also submitted into several animation festivals.
Lately I have been working for a wide selection of companies, brands and individuals both in a freelance and contracted capacity, employed to create everything from concept and production work for theme park rides to international trade shows where my work has been a showcase for different business to promote their own output in a variety of different ways from online social media to traditional banners and logo designs.
I am also currently spending my time working between the UK, Japan and Vietnam but due to the nature of todays digital world make it my paramount priority to ensure that all deadlines are met and any briefs taken on by myself are not only produced to a polished and high standard but are submitted in a timely and prompt fashion. I also pride myself on producing clean and easily transferable content that can be used, maintained and altered as and when required by anybody else that needs to, as a freelancer, too many times the need to recreate work from scratch has become the faster, better and much more viable option to the client due to messy work files and workflow structures, especially when handled by multiple users previously.
