I have worked with computers on a daily basis for the last 12 years and have built up an extensive knowledge of the complete Microsoft Office suite of applications. During this time, I have produced process documents and reports, completed meeting agendas and minutes, produced PowerPoint presentations for team and training events, created and distributed newsletters and produced and manipulated spreadsheets containing customer and financial information. I am proficient at typing and word-processing. I am familiar with receiving and dealing with information both paper based and electronic and filing this accordingly. I have used many bespoke internal systems within the different companies I have worked for which have contained customer information, sales and revenue records and financial data and I have always had the ability to adapt and learn quickly. I often manage my own learning with relation to IT when time allows because I take pride in my work and I am always striving to find more efficient ways of producing quality, well presented work. I also have experience of web publishing and have been directly involved in the maintenance and updating of internal and external websites. I am particularly efficient at conducting research using the internet as I have completed this from both a work and academic perspective. I have completed financial administration in past roles and am familiar with competing orders and producing and processing invoices. I also have experience of monitoring stationery stock levels and re-ordering these when required in line with defined budgets. Throughout all my roles, I have dealt with a variety of information, much of which has been confidential and I have always ensured that this has been handled correctly and sensitively. Having worked in a highly regulated company for the last 11 years, I am aware of many work related policies inclusive of data protection, health and safety and equal opportunities.
