I am a translator and features writer. I have researched and written articles on a range of subjects, including parenting, education (in particular early years - preschool, nurserymore...I am a translator and features writer. I'm a fully qualified primary school teacher, who has worked in the profession for over 14 years, specialising in Foundation Stage and Early Years. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Primary) and a TESOL certificate and I'm currently working towards a Masters Degree in Translation.
I write regularly for the website Adapt Education and School Explained.co.uk, which aims to inform parents about topics such as the educational curriculum. We are in the process of devising Learning Ladders for the Foundation Stage. I provide content on topics such as parenting and health for websites such as Mom.me, Ehow UK and The Bump.com, and I have written general interest features for regional and online magazines. I have edited and devised learning sessions for the Education and Information Learning Services (EILS) website and articles for Holmwood's English listening training website. More recently, I have helped develop a Teachers' Guide for a new primary school phonics programme and an introduction to a vegetarian 'Baby's First Meals' recipe book. I'm a fast and accurate proofreader.
