Previously atmore...I am a highly qualified Food Safety/HACCP Specialist, Currently working at a leading Food Safety and Health and safety consultancy company as a Technical Advisor. Previously at Warwickshire College & Worcester University as a lecturer in Food Safety and Quality Assurance; Earlier I worked in Coventry City Environmental Health as a Food Safety Advisor/Food Safety Officer.
In my previous local authority role I have dealt with many businesses and provided professional food safety/HACCP advice to more than 850 businesses. I also have a comprehensive background in the industry at management level.
I had have successfully completed a Salford University Master’s Degree in HACCP Management, including auditing, microbiology, consultancy and implementation in 2007.
I have also successfully completed the postgraduate University Diploma in Food Safety and Food Legislation in 2009 and achieved a high grade.
These studies involved very intensive studies at Birmingham University in Food Law, Food Technology, microbiology, food safety related subjects, including the latest qualifications in Food Safety Legislation available today. ( leading to the Higher Certificate in Premises Inspection)
I also obtained the highest marks in Food Technology and microbiology with a 100% grade.
In addition to the above I have a HACCP Certification with an honours grade
I am a fully accredited Food Safety and HACCP trainer from the Royal Society of Public Health and was promoted recently to Fellow Member of the Society (highest level) I am also a provisionary Member of the British Pest Control Association.
I am very familiar with BRC Standards and possess a good level of expertise in the global standard ISO 22000. Will be completing the Leading Auditor BRC 6 shortly.
I am also fluent in three European Languages
Finally I was a co-author for a peer reviewed HACCP paper that was published recently at a prestigious International Food Safety Journal and was a guest speaker at a recent International HACCP conference in London attended by the FSA & EEC leading representatives.
