Even at that age I was fascinated with taking them to pieces and messing with the programming... I did it all!
This normally ended up with me spending hours trying to fix them, numerous trips to computer shops buying new parts, but always with the computer back in working, if not better order!
After going to 6th form collage and studying ICT as one of my A-level subjects, I realised that I had a strong passion for the subject and achieved an A in my final results.
To further my skills, but also because of my enjoyment of the subject, I decided to enrol on a Bsc (Bachelor of Science) course in Information Systems Management at the University of Chester.
Throughout university I have continued to carry out ICT jobs. From a university work based learning module I was fortunate to gain a position working in a local primary school helping with ICT and website design. I have also created websites, logo and leaflet designs for several local companies.
After graduating, I took on a full time job with the hugely successful company, Aviagen - UK’s largest poultry breeder, working as a production assistant. This was a company I had worked for part time since the age of 14.
Not wanting to stop at my initial degree I decided that I would further my education at Chester by enrolling on a Msc (Master of Science) in Management with an e-commerce pathway.
I feel that developing my knowledge in depth is crucial in gaining a greater understanding of the constantly changing ICT environment.
My site www.jsayerweb.co.uk is therefore an extension of my passion for ICT and the enjoyment and fulfilment I have gained completing website work for people.
I feel that I have a lot to offer the business world with my ideas, creativity and experience. Whilst university has taught me to give 110% and work to strict deadlines, my work experience has taught me great people skills and values.
I believe that I can help your business reach its full potential both creatively and functionally. Whether its designing you a website, logo, leaflet or just some advice - I can help.
