Work Experience Summary: Over twenty years experience in IT within the Real Estate industry, working for one of the leading Real Estate organisations in the FTSE100. Broad experience in all aspects of IT management. Several years in a senior managerial role. Particular emphasis on service delivery, budgetary control, fit out projects and infrastructure management.
IS Department representation at Board level.
24/7 operational responsibility for Head Office IT functions.
A track record of successful project delivery. This most recently included a high profile fit out project for all IT infrastructure as well as high quality AV and meeting room systems for a prestigious new FTSE100 Headquarters office building.
Several years experience running both internal and outsourced Head Office service desk facilities, providing high levels of support to a demanding and very senior user base.
Implementation of SLA based helpdesk call management systems.
Responsibility for annual budgets in excess of £2M, with full purchasing and payment approval authority.
Provision of detailed budgetary analysis and reporting, and creation of annual budgets.
Management of site based infrastructure, including 100+ locally based servers and networking infrastructure.
Client side management of outsourced managed infrastructure agreement. This comprised a leading edge high performance infrastructure solution including managed hosting of servers at two data centres, highly resilient fault tolerant data links between data centres and Head Office, network storage devices and an electronic data vaulting system.
Client side responsibility for high profile Head Office network cabling installations.
Selection and contract negotiation and management for landline and mobile telephone service providers.
Evaluation and provision of mobile devices, including Corporate Blackberry services.
Extensive involvement in specification, selection and implementation of Head Office IP Telephony system.
Day to day management of Head Office telephony function.
Implementation of new IT infrastructure and processes
Implementation of local IT infrastructure, applications and processes from scratch at Branch offices, Group subsidiaries and partner startup organisations.
Evaluation and recommendation for improvements to existing IT infrastructure, applications and processes at same.
Management of software licensing, AV solutions, Web and Email content filtering.
Management and testing of Business Continuity arrangements.
