I am organised, creative, have great leadership skills and I am like a pit-bull with lock jaw when it comes to deliveries and deadlines.
I started my career as a stuntman and choreographer earning myself credits in films such as James Bond: Casino Royale, 28 Days Later and the late Anthony Minghella's Breaking and Entering, and T.V shows such as Top Gear.
After getting bitten by the production bug I stepped behind the camera and become an Assistant Director and VFX supervisor. As an assistant director on Channel 4's Concrete Circus I assisted and produced 'Storm Origins' which has over 2 million views on YouTube!(http://youtu.be/BIGYjCvu0go)
I went on to have two short films commissioned by Channel 4's Random Acts series including 'Monday' which was later curated by the Italian ministry of Labour and used to open their film festival.
Following the success of my Random Acts I was hired by Kazoo Creative to be a production supervisor for a full CG trailer on behalf of Deep Silver. During this time I co-wrote the script, assisted from pre production to post, ran casting sessions, hired voice artists, co-ordinated and choreographed motion capture sessions.
I stayed on to produce Bacardi's iconic flashback series in which we were given access to the Bacardi Family's original archive photos and tasked with transforming them into 3D parallax images to tell the story of their humble beginnings. This experience gave me lots of time to practice my face-to-face skills with clients and became self sufficient with managing deliveries, amendments and project co-ordination.
I also produced the VFX for BBC's 'The monsters of Dr Who' and The Science Behind Dr Who.' Which as you can guess took hours of research to create visuals for subject matter that 'Joe Public' has a very hard time getting their head around. It was a success!
Other writing, producing or directing clients include Red Bull, Maximuscle, Goretex and Cinecitta World.
For the last two years I have been living in Beijing, China. I was a manager at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. I began my job there as an English teacher but quickly rose ranks. I was promoted in my first month to teacher trainer, offered a scholarship into the revered Confucius program and finally promoted to foreign teacher manager. I helped the company grow from 4 ESL campuses to 20. I managed and trained over 100 members of staff. My other duties included course design, marketing campaigns and PR events.
I have since returned to London to co-write and co-direct my first theatrical production alongside broadcast legend Mike Christie (Christiehq.com) which premiers in summer 2015.
