His producing style is influenced by his 20 year career as a visual FX artist and post-production creative in the film industry. After completing film school in Visby, Sweden, in 1997, Sjöberg’s successes were largely rooted in his own ambition. He founded several production and post-production companies including The Syndicate (2000), Swiss International (2002), and Node AB (2007), developing projects for international clientele.
In 2001, Sjöberg received a break of epic proportions, becoming the only Swedish artist selected to work on the visual effects team for Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning film “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” As an acting Sequence Lead and Senior Inferno Artist. This opportunity snowballed into more blockbuster post-production work for Sjöberg, with the films “Charlotte’s Web,” “Superman Returns,” “Blood Diamond,” “The Golden Compass,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” amongst his credits. In light of his personal success, the Royal Technical University in Stockholm, Sweden, invited him to guest lecture on the topic of VFX for feature film.
Sjöberg made his directorial and producer debut in 2007. His campaign for Yoplait helped launch the Yoplait brand in Sweden. Over the years, Sjöberg has assisted in other high-end campaigns including Nike’s ‘What-If’ campaign and a promotional spot for the artist Moby and Madonna. He has also produced as Senior Agency Producer at Honesty, campaign commercials for the brands H&M, Scandic Hotels, Halebop and Fisherman’s Friend.
