Python game engines | can script and code, but i need a modeling artist, who knows the arcane arts of blender. Usually this is studied when i get ideas for a game. currently interested in Python Fife engine, of which a few games have seen good success, did i mention its free? I also have a licence for the Torque engine editor (torsion), with little idea of what i'm doing with it.
Linux | its the daddy! it hides nothing! and once you’ve experienced the package manager, you wont want to go back to windows. so far i can build entire distros from source if i wanted to, or make new operating system remixes (called distro’s/distributions).
C++ | I have a book, im a third of the way through it. its easy to me, but right now its not that relevant.
C# | I am confident i can do almost anything in c# if given enough time. visual express studio does all the heavy lifting.
Php | a challenge. but one i can do. a debuggers worst nightmare. i know how to use classes but im not so good at writing them. i favor procedural, since code is cheap to a coder. can be part of my day job.
Html | Its boring and if your used to dynamic sites, its the job of templating engines. People learn this in secondary school. i can and have been known to write it to an acceptable standard in states of mind that can be compared to sleeping.
CSS | yes. i can do it, but there is room for improvement.. layouts and (messy coded) gradients are about my current skill level.
Perl | I find it a bit of an antiquity. written a script that turned out to be more of muse than of any use. but it ran and was valid code. oddly resembled php.
Java | one of my first attempts at teaching myself to code. i vaguely remember it. need an auto completing ide. it should be like learning python all over again.
Bash | another mystery. i know how to use variables. estimated learning time until operational, 4 hours for getting to a professional level.
Drupal| if your a cowboy web designer who cant be bothered to reinvent the wheel or touch a line of code, you use drupal, and call everything your own work. me - ive recently been building the drupal plugin modules that said cowboy designer would use.
Django | I would say i was proficient at django and i have developed a few sites. and i love it!
Python 3 & Django Developer
I'm really pleased with what Jason produced. He was fun to work with and took the time to explain everything I needed. Everything went nicely according to schedule, too. Excellent!
Jason has been patient and helped us achieve our goal, over and above expectations.
