Description: Whilst working for Reed, I have completed many contracts with many big name retailers and suppliers including; Eon, Homebase, Argos Head Office, Argos Photo Studio, Argos Print and Voucher Room and SuperDry. I have had many duties ranging from pot washing, stock room assistant, voucher packing to working as a print room assistant and a photographer's assistant.
Job Title: Sales Assistant
Description: I started work on the tills, having to meet sales targets KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) on certain products such as GT85 and Turtle Wash & Wax. I was also assigned an area of the store in which I had to face up in order to keep presentable at all times as well as helping customers find and choose the right products that suited their needs. I was also trained how to fit car wiper blades, car batteries, headlight, break, indicator and reverse light bulbs. I was also trained how to match the bulbs to the car. I was trained how to sell Sat Nav's as well as products with them, such as protective case's.

Description: I worked on the front tills selling lottery tickets, scratch cards, cigarettes, newspapers and other products that the store has to offer. I was set sales targets called TPC's (Till Point Conversations), in which I was required to sell products such as sweets and chocolates as well as pre-orders on books. I would also help customers find the products that they needed, which sometimes meant ordering it in for them. I also took part in regular stock checks, counting magazines on the shop floor and in the stock room as well as facing up the store and changing the POS.

Within my first few months I had already proved my ability and willingness to learn and was promoted to work on Starters and Desserts which meant I had to cook and prepare food as well as prepare it to be served to the customers.

Description: Employed during the summer holidays by my Aunt to gain work experience of a busy carvery, they had over 160 covers and were extremely busy as it had just been refurbished. My job as a kitchen porter, was to wash up anything that needed washing from plates to pots and pans, as well as heling prepare food.
