Starting out on the trade press, I then moved onto comsumer and specialist magazines and became a freelance journalist when I had a daughter.
Life took a different path and for a while I was the Internal Communications Manager at the RAC - a job that enabled me to use my journalistic skills to increase engagement of the internal comms channels and set up a colleague magazine Champions, which was rated as 'excellent' or 'very good' by 89 per cent of respondents.
Now, I'm relaunching my career as a freelance journalist, editor & copywriter and am currently seeking commissions. Take a look at my website www.jackieannett.co.uk to see the colleague magazine I produced for the RAC as well as some of my earlier news and feature articles for Love It, Essentials, Observer Woman and The Publican Newspaper.
