Work Experience Summary: I started my career as a PA for a large Media company organising exhibitions where I supported the Group Director and also supported a busy sales team. I looked after the directors diary and all his appointments, booked travel, organised team meetings and did a lot of project work either on my own or with him. The sales team also required a lot of support and I would would generate contracts and speak with the exhibitors for up and coming exhibition making sure that they had all the information required and also helping them with any issues they may have. I was also in charge of the on line sales and market brochure that the exhibitors used. The role was very busy and varied.
I then worked for a busy PR agency supporting the two company owners, they were both constantly busy and I had to make sure i juggled their diaries so that all meeting were attended. Any work that needed to be done for this I would make sure they had before they left for the meeting. As part of the role I also organised many event in various location in London which required finding a venue, organising all food and drinks, entertainment and then making sure everything was timed perfectly once all the guests had arrived.
I then moved to an academic company as PA to 3 very busy directors all with different schedules and area of expertise. I again had to juggle their diaries and make sure they were where they needed to be when required. I also took minutes in meetings, did project work for them and extensively booked travel. I had to liaise with clients on their behalf and acted as a support for all of them.
