Working remotely is typical for me, and I understand the value of being proactive- from asking and answering questions in a timely manner to establishing my own set of web-based project and issue tracking tools (which I offer to my clients free of charge for complex projects).
I worked in California for many years, completing projects for several high profile brands and companies (including Adobe, Microsoft, Leapfrog, and WebMD.) Please see my portfolio for examples.
My roots run deep with the Flash platform, having served on the board of directors for the San Francisco Flash user's group, as well as the coordinator & conductor for the longest running Flash awards ceremony (recently re-acquired by Lynda)- The Flashforward2008 Film Festival, San Francisco.
Area Covered: Flash, Interactive and Web Development
Job Title: Contract Interactive Developer
Company: Thinkspring Interactive
Description: Interactive development for the past twelve years.
I am extremely familiar with all aspects of Flash including ActionScript programming (AS 1.0 – 3.0), JSFL, working with web forms, XML, and ASP, PHP, etc. I also have a lot of experience with web-based video systems, animation techniques and audio matters (including synchronization for voiceovers and music).
I am a registered developer for the Google Android Marketplace and the Apple App Store. In the past I have developed applications, presentations and games for multiple platforms and operating systems including PC, Mac, Linux, Solaris, Pocket PC, Leapster, PSP and phones. The memory and performance challenges associated with modern smart phones and tablets share similarities with past projects I have worked on.
I served as the coordinator & conductor for the Flashforward2008 Film Festival, held in San Francisco. http://www.flashforwardconference.com/. In 2010 the conference was bought back by Lynda.com.
As a member of the steering committee for the San Francisco Macromedia user group (until it ceased to have meetings shortly after the Adobe acquisition). I planned meetings, recruited speakers, reviewed Flash-related third party applications and occasionally spoke.
I have experience creating Flash-based DVD and CD-ROM presentations for all operating systems that support the Flash player.
I also have experience with a number of graphics and sound editing applications (including sample editing and sequencing/composition).
My roles from past Flash projects have ranged from back-end, ActionScript-heavy duties to animation and sound synchronization for presentations.

All good thank you!
Thanks Greg for all your hard work.
Greg was a true professional within every step of the job. He communicates very well, promptly replies to all messages and completed the project without any fuss.
Although a small piece of work I was overall very happy with Gregs work. He understood my requirements with no hassles, communicated well and fixed the issues in good time. Will definitely be in touch again.
