A lot of my skills used in my day job I can transfer to almost any administrative role you may need filling - I pride myself on attention to detail, and getting the job done as quick as possible whilst maintaining the high standards required.
I use a Mac for everyday use, but can convert any document, web page, spreadsheet or presentation to and from Microsoft programs.
Area Covered: Secretarial/Administration
Work Experience Summary: I am currently employed as Credit Controller for a small company - this involves contacting customers in arrears with their loans by telephone/letter to arrange repayments, reconciliation with payments, applying interest, reworking early repayment figures and reporting directly to the Managing Director with the figures for the month/calendar year/financial year.
I am also the unofficial secretary for the office: taking deliveries, arranging the MD's appointment diary, liaising with suppliers and general running of the office.
My previous experiences include working for BT on the Directory Enquiries line, where the customer requires very specific information and failing to provide this could be detrimental to the company.
Education Summary: I left school at 16 with ten GCSEs, including:
A - French, written and oral
B - Maths
B - English Literature and Language
B - Sciences
B - Geography
B - IT skills, which have since drastically improved!
I enrolled in college for an art and design course, but felt it wasn't for me and left after three months to embark on a professional career.
Proof reader, data entry, information collection, transcripts, almost anything administrative!
