I was born and raised in Israel Where I was educated to high school level. Hebrew is my native language.

I lived in England since the 1980's and completed my Degree in History and French at the University of North London. I also gained a certificate in teaching English as a second language. I've translated and taught English and Hebrew intermittently for the last 15 years.
I have also worked as a PA at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery in the Education Department; at the British National Trust as an inventory assistant; and at the Bristol Library service.
In 2009 I worked as a project Assistant/Translator at Radio Salaam Shalom (Jews and Muslims Talking Together). I now mainly works as a freelance translator.
