For the past three years, I have been responsible for software and digital product planning, research and development at a senior management level.
I have a general law degree from the University of Durham, UK. My software background started with developing multimedia products using platforms like Macromedia Director and Flash and I continue to develop solutions in ActionScript today. I then moved on to high performance C++ application development for Windows and Linux and the administration of large-scale Linux server clusters for application and service delivery.
My hobbies include creative writing of both prose and poetry. I have been published several times in the UK media and in writing compilations. I'm frequently involved in and responsible for the delivery of research reports, product and website copy.
I have also acted as a consultant on information technology architecture improvement and development for major UK companies. I have usually been responsible for the successful implementation of upgraded provision for on-site networks, email, groupware capabilities and so on after the delivery of an initial consultation report and recommendations package.
