Work Experience Summary: I have been working in an inbound contact centre for a credit card company for the past three years. During this time I have worked in customer service, card retention and sales roles. Because of this experience I have developed an excellent telephone manner and I am able to communicate effectively with customers. I have great rapport building skills which lead to my customers to be more open with me. My daily duties include taking card payments, arranging balance transfers, helping customers with enquiries about their cards, such as balance enquiries and updating contact details, and arranging replacement cards to be re-issued and sent out.
I am targeted on providing exceptional customer care within a set time limit, the retention of customers who wished to close their accounts down and up-selling additional features and benefits such as insurance products.
I am thoroughly dedicated to providing high quality customer care whilst surpassing my monthly targets and I have been recognised for this by receiving associate of the department twice.

In the contact centre all customer information is computer based and I track my call information on programs such as Microsoft excel, word and access. The role consists of a lot of admin work and data entry, for example tracking customers who had called because we had sent out marketing information and putting them onto a specific report. Because I work for a credit card company all information held is confidential so I understand the importance of security whilst assisting customers over the telephone.
