I am also a member of The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, to gain membership I had to sit exams in which I passed with distinctions.
I have also during my career run large weekly and monthly payrolls for an international haulage company, during which I gained experience in all aspects for payroll from data input to managing the year end.
I have a strong level of understanding using sage line 50 and sage payroll.
Area Covered: Huddersfield & surrounding area, also working remotely.
Work Experience Summary: Purchase Ledger - Data input, account reconciliation, payments to suppliers, dealing with queries.
Sales Ledger - Data input, account reconciliation payment allocation, credit control.
Cash book - Receipts and payments. Balance cash book monthly.
Bank account - Account reconciliation, data entry (monies received, transferred, payments)
VAT - Quarterly returns submitted to HMRC both online and manually, reconciliation and payment (both UK & EU VAT returns)

Budget management - experience in setting budgets for new tasks and also working to bugets.
Payroll - Deal with new employees and leavers (P45 & P46). Data and timesheet input, calculation of overtime, sick, holiday, piece rate work rates. SMP, SPP, SSP payments, all HMRC forms. Finalise payroll run for pay period, prepare and submit bacs. Manage yearend (all relevant PAYE & NI forms) reconcile and prepare to start new tax year.
