With over 16 years basic general Personal Assistance and administration, I am now able to specialise in property management as well. I have built up experience in marketing, referencing, arranging viewings, tenant management, maintenance management, overseeing staff, payroll management, bookkeeping, deposit protection and disputes as well as the day to day general management of the company.
During this time I have also managed Serviced Accommodations, including - managing the listings, calendar and rate management, organising changeovers and maintenance resolutions, taking payments, confirming reservations and providing guest information is sent out in good time, providing 24/7 availability as point of contact for guests, chasing for reviews and feedback.
I am a keen learner and willing to undertake any courses or training that would help to improve my knowledge allowing me to do a better job. I am also happy to negotiate rates depending on the services required or offer a fixed monthly rate.
The majority of my work experience has been within an administrative setting and much has involved front-line work with members of the public and community as well as the back office aspect.
I was an administrator within the NHS from October 2004 until November 2010 working for different departments such as Anti-Coagulation Clinic at the North Middlesex Hospital, Sexual Health Clinic at Enfield Town Clinic and Child Health Department at St Ann’s Hospital.
My last administrative position was working in a busy doctor’s surgery as a receptionist. With over 14,000 on our system it was an extremely busy service. My main role was to book appointments with the healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants. I have at times opened up and worked seasonal clinics without supervision.
In my previous positions I have had management experience of a team of approximately 10 people, allocating work as and when needed, being one of the primary key holders, opening up the office in the morning and also being the last to leave ensuring the room was locked and secure. I also assisted with the training of teams across two databases. My role was to investigate and find records and also to cross reference against several other databases to ensure that the records are correct. I also acted as PA to the Data Cleansing Manager, managing her diary, answering the telephone and taking messages as and when required. I have experience of booking bank staff, dealing with petty cash, completing sickness and absence returns in a timely manner.
During this time I regularly used a number of information systems –
• PAS (Patient Administration System) & HARPATH – a specific Pathology database at North Middlesex Hospital
• RASH (Reproductive and Sexual Health database) & FMI ClinicPro at Enfield Town Clinic
• CHIA (Child Health Interim Authority) & NSTS (National Strategic Tracing System) at St Ann’s
• RiO (a Mental Health Electronic Patient Record System) at Chase Farm Hospital
• SIMs (School Information Management System) & Parentpay at Houndsfield School
I am able to work and communicate with a range of people on different matters and ensure that any possible barriers to communicate are effectively managed.
In all my roles I have worked within the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Act. I have working knowledge of the Caldecott Principle and the VD Act (1974).
I am able to manage and prioritize my own workload to ensure all timeframes are met and identify any risk to prevent this. I can work both on my own initiative as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
I am confident and comfortable when dealing with any client enquiries, problems or should someone present in distress. I am also confident in seeking the necessary support if the need arises. I am able to work under pressure and consider myself both flexible and adaptable in my approach to work.
Most of my previous roles where within very busy client and clinic based environments. I am very keen to develop my career and dedicated to making this happen. I am flexible and hardworking and would make a valuable asset to your team.
