After repeated unanswered attempts to communicate with Solveiga, I now have to recover my escrow funds in full ($80.00 USD) and find an true professional Seller to get this job done. I am now way behind schedule because of Solveiga. I have been communication with PPH customer support (Sakkis) who has advised me to recover the funds in escrow immediately. I am very disappointed in how this turned out. I don’t get it. It’s sad.
Although Sol seemed like a good candidate to work with based off of her CV, profile photos etc....and the fact she was very communicative and responsive at first. However, once I send a deposit and accepted her proposal and posted all my materials ( fabrics & design specs) for her to start dress making, her communication and everything went downhill. After I posted all my materials to her I kept asking about how the progress is going. She said she had not started on it yet and that she thinks she would start Friday of that week. Then I did not hear from her. At one point I had left multiple people per hour messages, whats app messages and rang both her numbers (left voicemails for both) after not hearing from her for 8 days straight ( just over a week). 8 days for me seems like a long time to not hear anything from someone who is getting paid to work on a project for you with a strict timeline (which I did mention when I was looking for dressmakers). So communication was really bad. There was no communications or updates on a regular basis during the workflow stage after accepting the proposal and paying a deposit. I was getting concerned that I could have even got scammed.
However, Sol finally messaged me back on people per hour and explained she had some challenging days and had not started on my dresses at all. She said she could start on my project later. She did not specify when later would be. She then offered to send back my materials also and apologised for any inconvenience.
Since I did not feel comfortable or confident with the lack of communication and that she would not meet be able to meet my deadline now after delaying the start of my dresses. I requested her to send back all my materials and requested a refund.
