London, GBWhat I thought would have been a great first time experience with Noman K turned out to be the complete opposite. This experience lead to me making a formal complaint to People Per Hour to get full ownership of my logo. I received two invoices from Noman K which I rejected for work that was not completed, the finish was rushed, and there were too many errors. Noman K appears to be working towards a 24 hour turnaround, but on numerous occasions issued work that was not satisfactory. I was interested in Norman K’s portfolio- which is why I accepted his proposal, however what I had asked Norman K to design was not difficult at all.
There were rushed pencil errors and the framing of the logo cut off letters of the business name which was obvious, but still Noman K sent me an invoice. I was completely shocked that a professional graphic designer would expect me to pay £75 for a logo that would not be worth using at the time. Noman K did not want to work with me any longer after the final invoice as I disputed again the size of the logo of one of the files were not to scale, and I had asked him to ensure that all work is consistent before payment. To my dismay Norman K stated that I should use Adobe Illustrator to correct it myself just before he demanded that I request a refund. Norman K stated that the logo is HIS logo, literally, despite all the directions given and a copy of my draft sketch which was provided to him before any revisions were made or the project started. I was pleased that I opted for a Non-Disclosure Agreement. I understand my rights in that once payment has been made, buyers are granted all rights for the delivered work.
I read the refund policy which I urge all buyers to read. The refund request was for Noman K's benefit as I would not have been able to write a review or receive the full amount back as the work which commenced on 01/08/17 ended on 15/08/17. Communication was slower than I expected and felt that is was more about the money than helping me to produce a great logo. Please read PPH's policy so you are aware of your rights and are not lead to making a decision under pressure. Thank you to People Per Hour. This experience will not dampen my view of PPH's platform and I look forward to working with other Sellers in the near future.

Yeah, it's 100% my logo and I made a rough sketch come to life.
