Most recently I have been working with Television Licensing (through Capita) on a temporary contract processing no TV declarations from the public. Before that I was working at Bristol City Council in the Parks and Estates Department, as the sole sports lettings officer for the city. Prior to this I was employed at the Environment Agency where I learnt much regarding the waste industry in the UK. My position at the EA was working with the Waste Protocols Project as a project support officer. I have also worked at the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) as an administration officer with the Marine Biodiversity team.
I have a background education in Geography and Environmental Sciences gaining a 2.1 at Manchester Metropolitan University.
I am familiar with capable of use word processing packages such as Microsoft word and star office writer, to create letters and documents. I also am fully functional in using spreadsheet packages such as Microsoft Excel and Star office calculator. As sports lettings officer I continually updated my records using various spreadsheets with contact details which were ever changing and financial figures using calculations to keep track of my income and expenditure. I am also used to working with Microsoft Access and have in the past used Microsoft Project to help aid with project work. As an e-mail client I have used Microsoft Outlook and Groupwise amongst other programmes. I also believe that I can pick up new software packages with little tuition.
