I have over 10 years commercial experience as a software architect and my most recent history has seen me working with technologies as diverse as VB6 and Oracle 10g though to .net MVC3 SQL Server 2008 r2.
I have a wealth of experience as a technical architect and have a proven track record for delivering a timely solution to complex issues, often involving back-end ERP integrations.
Area Covered: Professional History
Job Title: Senior Developer
Company: AMEC NNC
Description: I joined NNC as a 3rd line support operative, and was enjoying the role when an opportunity arose within the company for a developer to take over maintenance and enhancement of the company intranet. Once in that role, a series of corporate communication projects were conceived, and I was tasked with delivery of a system tray notification system and to implement SharePoint Portal Server to deliver corporate communications and other information directly to every employee"s desktop/laptop. Once that was complete NNC decided that its internet presence needed a significant boost and I developed a simple content management system based on the .net 1.1 framework and delivered a series of websites for specific areas of the business.
In 2002 I was promoted to a member of the newly formed Corporate Marketing team. Immediate responsibilities were to re-develop and re-design the (then) nnc.co.uk website, based upon the Immediacy content management system and to help develop and enforce the new corporate brand across the group. As a consequence of the new websites, AMEC became aware and interested the company and acquired NNC.
The corporate marketing roles were merged into the parent company (AMEC) as part of the acquisition of NNC into AMEC NNC. I continued to support and develop the AMEC NNC internet sites as well as lead design, development and implementation of the CoRWM contract (Committee on Radioactive Waste Management) which was responsible for providing recommendations to the government on the future of nuclear power in the UK. I was Security Cleared for this position due to the nature of the work.
Job Title: Senior Developer

Notably, I worked on the redevelopment of JD Sports into a .net solution and delivered the EFM website alone, ahead of schedule.
Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
