2015 is Dan's 21st year working in real estate and the built environment. He has worked on well over 100 major property schemes and developments across the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Spain, Holland, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Brazil, Egypt and UAE.
He started his career as a planning graduate for Guardian Properties (now AXA) in '94, before becoming a Partner at Black & White Communications in '97 and then a founding Director at Halogen. In 2009 he established the international marketing-communications agency INNESCO.
He and the wider Innesco business have gained the trust of numerous clients including AXA, ING RED, CBREi, Gulf Related, Henderson Global Investors, Allied London, Hammerson, Land Securities, Bouygues Development, Pradera, Delancey, IKEA Shopping Centres Russia, Stanhope, Centros, Royal & SunAlliance/ISIS, British Land, Squarestone, HUB Residential, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Westfield Shoppingtowns, Propinvest, Palm Hills Developments, Land Improvement Holdings, AMF Fastigheter and The Wellcome Trust.
Key appointments include Westfield's European portfolio, where he led the B2B launch of Westfield Stratford City from 2009, and opened in Sep 2011 ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games. Innesco was also appointed to rebrand and promote the IKEA Real Estate Russia shopping centre portfolio during 2009-10, and to advise on branding, comms and launch for several Unibail Rodamco projects including Mall of Scandinavia and its Dining Experience initiative. Today the INNESCO portfolio includes some of the world's most respected real estate businesses.
He leads on strategic corporate and project reputation work, lobbies hard to support young professionals, education issues and on the increasing importance of marketing communications in real estate. He currently sits on two BCSC Committees, the BCSC Advisory Panel, and on the ICSC European Marketing Committee.
