Job Title: Freelance Researcher/Writer
Description: Researcher and copywriter for Bunzl's (multinational logistics) quarterly internal newssheet. An 8 page, A3 document containing news and stories drawn from people and branches across the world.
My role was to research, write and edit the entire content of the paper, overseen by my editor and the comms people at Bunzl. The entire process - from the time story leads are released to me to completion -took around 8 weeks. Bunzl are one of the world’s largest logistics and product sourcing organisations and as such demand a high caliber of work. This document goes out to tens of thousands of Bunzl staff around the globe.

During my time with this publication I worked on their business-lite and features section, contributing articles that ranged from corporate accommodation reviews to European travel and city reviews. This magazine is available to view online.

Company: The Woodcraft Folk
Description: The Woodcraft Folk are one of the UK's largest children’s charities - similar to the youth movements of the Brownies and the Boy Scouts.
My role here was to populate and moderate their website with a comprehensive catch of stories from every region and group in the UK. The website was updated weekly and featured sections for news, people, events and images. The site was open to both members and the public alike but Woodcraft Folk members were able to post both news and comments. In addition to sourcing and writing all content I was responsible for the moderation of all external postings.
Job Title: Arts Project Manager
Description: In 2008 a former warehouse space and shop were redeveloped by arts/architectural practice Public Works. As part of their brief the clients wanted the newly remodelled home and adjacent shop to act as an arts space and temporary gallery, entitled the GiftShop. Working with the client and Public Works we created a 10 month programme of arts that touched on the surrounding area and residents. In total 8 artists created new work based on the idea of the Gift. This project is available to view on the Public Works website.
Job Title: Arts Project Manager/Copywriter
Description: This part -time role working for a C.I.C -community Interest Company - based in the City of London is all encompassing. In addition to creating all content for their website and marketing material I work to develop publicity for the gallery and shop. As a commercial gallery the main part of the role involves artist/exhibition management. The gallery also acts as a satellite site for larger organisations such as The Barbican and World Photography Festival.
