Main role was to translate texts for use in PC software and firmware for embedded medical devices, giving me the confidence to work with both languages comfortably as well as getting used to an UK working environment.

1. Work experience as a Reporter for the University magazine.
“Sobpressao” magazine was produced quarterly. The role gave me a better understanding of what topics were relevant and how to address them the best way possible. Journalistic skills gained: knowing how to cover all the important details of a story as well as being interesting and professional.
2. Work experience as a Reporter and radio presenter for the University Radio.
“Radio Unifor” was a weekly radio show broadcasted via the University website. I was then able to use my journalistic skills to interview guests. Producing and presenting a live show gave me confidence to deal with pressure.
