I provide planning drawings for new build, extensions and any other project that requires technical proposal drawings. I can either create a suitable design or work from a client brief. I can be contacted solely by email, the clients need only a scanner should revisions be required or design briefs be sent to me. I am of course willing to speak on the phone during the day and early evening (Mon-Sat), and can meet on-site within a 100 mile radius of Tunbridge Wells. Drawings are provided in PDF format (compatible with reader version 6 and above). Once drawings are complete, submitted and approved I can provide the details of several Building Regulations specialists.
Using Digital Ordnance Survey extracts I can provide accurate plans for event management, such as festivals and seminars on any scale.
ORDNANCE SURVEY EXTRACTS
I can provide these at minimal cost, at any scale on any media size, either a hard copy version (up to A0) or a PDF version emailed to you and printed by your local printing outlet. Please note, there are additional costs for adding colour, defining areas, etc. but all quotes are price fixed once agreed.
This may sound like a technical term but another way of describing it is ‘tracing’. Vectorising is taking hand drawn plans (in ‘raster’ format, as in small dots of colour) and creating digital versions using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
The benefits will depend upon the application, for instance if there are long term alterations to a building, drawing costs are saved once vectorised. There are relatively few individuals drawing by hand since the introduction of CAD packages in the 1980′s, despite this there are still the ‘traditionalists’ and I am able to help regardless of original media size, up to A0 (841mm × 1189mm).
