Whilst studying for my previous Degree in Chemistry, I was taking evening classes in Creative Pattern Cutting & tailoring, as well as recently completing my Foundation at Central Saint Martins. I had been working with carnival groups, making costumes, as well as, for fashion houses; pattern cutting, sewing toiles, managing orders etc. I am now looking for sewing work; from sample machinist to medium-level pattern cutter work to help fund my Degree at the London College of Fashion. I pay close attention to detail and drives for a high quality finish. I have my own industrial sewing machine and 4-thread overlocker at home, however I have no preference and could travel anywhere within London.
Area Covered: Sewing, Machinist, Pattern Cutting, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
Summary: Recently just completed my Foundation Diploma (part-time) at Central Saint Martins, due to start my degree in Fashion Technology (Designer Pattern Cutter) at London College of Fashion. These are part of a move away from a previous Degree in Chemistry. Over the last 2 years I have been working hard to gain relevant experience within fashion / costume studios, with excellent interpersonal and organisation skills and 2 years of experience with Customer Relations, I am now looking for part-time / freelance work to continue building my career within Fashion.
