Hi, I’m Anthony Richardson and I am a leading international professional voice over artist, based in the United Kingdom. I specialise in cost effective, Received Pronunciation (accent-free), voice overs for film, television and radio. I also provide character voices for animation projects, narration for audio books and ‘on-hold’ messaging for telephone systems.
Have I heard you before?
Yes! You have probably already heard my voice – from radio and TV commercials to the voice of the talking signs used by Police forces and hospitals throughout the country. Maybe you’ve heard one of my crazy voices from a cartoon or radio ident, or perhaps listened to me read your favourite audio book?
Are you any good?
Ask my customers – I have outstanding vocal versatility and I am quite happy to provide accents (regional and foreign) and even impersonations when required – I do a great Elvis! As a musician, my timing is excellent and, as a Royal National Theatre trained sound technician, I know exactly how to get the sound and feel you want from my fully equipped digital studio.
Can you help me with…?
Would you like me to write your script – or just have an initial chat? Well, if you need any help or advice to make sure your project runs smoothly, I offer this completely FREE of charge – so please don’t be shy and get in touch.
Let me add some MAGIC to your voice over!
Area Covered: International
Work Experience Summary: I am a well established leading British VO (just type "voice over artist" into Google.co.uk) with credits ranging from Pepsi and Microsoft, to the voice of the 'talking signs' for every Police force and hospital in Britain. I am currently the voice of McCoys Crisps online (www.McCoys.co.uk) and the TV commercials for MadBid.com and have just voiced the international opening monologue for the Hollywood movie, Eyeborgs.
I am an official contractor to Cambridge University's language department for Received Pronunciation voice overs, a regular reader for Stephen Fry's Listening Books and I am just in the process of auditioning for a new animation series.
I am also a Royal National Theatre trained sound technician, have a fully equipped digital studio and can deliver complete, finished audio files in all the major formats (.wav, .mp3, .aif, .ogg, .raw etc.) and get these to you by email or ftp.
