I wrote segments for an award-winning TV documentary called Born to be Wild, a weekly program that showcases the best of Philippine wildlife. This show won the ASEAN Champion of Biodiversity in Media award in 2011, beating 11 other contenders from Southeast Asia.
I've also written for other internationally-acclaimed documentaries. One of them is Oras Na (It's Time), a documentary about environmental deadlines and threats. This won "Best Investigative Documentary" in the United Nations World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in 2015.
But more than the awards, the greatest honor I've ever received was seeing the largest creature on Earth, the Blue Whale, twice. And that's considered really lucky by the way. I was also ran over by a 7-foot ostrich in one of our animal medical missions, and I did not just live to tell the story, I was also able to film what it's like to have an ostrich step on you with the GoPro I had in my hand. I can show proof if you hire me.
I have a passion for creating stories that move people, for content that affect lives positively.
I'm sure there are many qualified applicants and they may be better than me. But they don't have the ostrich footage. And I'm telling you--- it's THAT good.
